Thursland Farm

  Small lake is over 10 years old, ring lake was opened in 1999.
• Description:
  Two lakes, a small oval specimen carp lake and a larger u-shaped lake with disabled parking and access. Members only.
• Facilities:
  Parking in designated space only. Access through gates by keyholders only. To obtain a key you have to register at a cost of £10. No visitors allowed. Apply to Thursland Hill Farm, Thurnham, Lancaster
• Access:
  Older lake is sheltered with high banks while new lake is flat and open.
• Stocking:
  Most popular species with carp up to mid twenties.
• Prices:
  Season tickets only - phone for details.
• Restrictions:
  4lb minimum line, no keepnets, groundbait and no barbed hooks.
• Location:
  Turn off the A588 at Thurnham onto Moss Lane following the signs for Cockerham Caravan Park. The entrance to the fishery is about half a mile on the left, easily missed.
