A former clay pit circa 1898. - Description:
A one acre water surrounded by sheltering trees. Family owned for over 100 years and has been a fishery since 1934. The water used to be twice as big but was reduced in size when the Blackpool access road was constructed. It has undergone continuous refurbishment since 1982 when the owners underwent training in fishery management. - Facilities:

The water is well stocked with rudd, roach, ide, chub, bream, tench, golden orfe, perch and eels. - Prices:
There are 4 ways anglers can fish the water: full membership costs £260 per annum and allows unlimited access & a key to the gate or winter membership at £80 with gate key from November up to & including Easter (limited to 1 rod). Tuesday night matches (details of which are still to be decided - phone for details.) or opens as a day water Friday Saturday & Sunday, Easter till November £5 for six hours. - Restrictions:
Anglers must use the dip tanks but no keep nets are allowed on site. - Location:
