Opened in July 1999. - Description:
Five small lakes varying in shape and size each with an island. Open aspect makes the venue quite breezy. Wind break fences have been installed and some tree planting is beginning to grow nicely. Water marginal plants are maturing well. - Facilities:
Parking in spaces provided, kitchen facilities and toilet. - Access:
Mainly quite good although some pegs are down banks. - Stocking:
Most species and original carp stock was up to 15lbs. The barbel are hard fighting as are the tench for their size. - Prices:
£6 per day and disabled and evenings £4. - Restrictions:
No fully barbed hooks, nut baits, or boilies or method feeders. Minimum 4lb line. - Location:
Follow the A585 from Poulton, over Shard Bridge and left at the mini roundabout and the fishery is signposted on the left as you enter Hambleton just past the petrol station. - Contacts:
