Copthorne Fishery

• Age:
  Opened in 1994 and seemingly always under some alteration.
• Description:
  Several waters including a match complex, trout lake, canal and main carp lake with a junior water.
• Facilities:
  Parking in spaces provided around the site and toilet also now an adjoining caravan park and holiday log cabins.
• Access:
  Very good to almost all areas even for wheelchairs.
• Stocking:
  Most species with smaller carp in all waters and some nice chub in the canal. Well stocked.
• Prices:
  £6 per day for one rod. OAP and juniors £4. Evenings £4.
• Restrictions:
  No fully barbed hooks, boilies, braid or keepnets except on canal.
• Location:
  Take Longmoor Lane from the A6 at the Flag pub at Garstang and follow the road through Nateby onto Skitham Lane. The fishery is signposted on the right after about 2 miles.
